    The Walter E. Washington convention center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown DC, at 801 Mt. Vernon Place, NW, Washington, DC. ACC will provide morning and evening shuttle service for downtown hotels.

    Airports Serving the DC Metro Region

    1. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): The airport has its own stop on the Metro (yellow and blue line) and is also serviced by Washington Flyer Taxi. The taxi fare from Reagan National to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center is approximately $15 plus tip. See more information >>>
    2. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): Serviced by Washington Flyer Taxi, the 30-mile ride from Dulles to Capitol Hill would be approximately $64 plus tip. Washington Flyer also operates Super Shuttle, which offers passengers the opportunity to share transportation. See more information >>>
    3. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): The airport can be accessed via Amtrak. Visitors can take the train from the BWI station to DC’s Union Station for approximately $15. See more information >>>

    Amtrak

    Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to (Washington, DC) from March 14, 2017 until March 22, 2017. To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent.

    Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X22C-954 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

    Washington, DC has one of the safest, cleanest and most efficient transportation systems in the world. Metrorail and Metrobus are the most convenient ways to get around DC, with Metrobus providing connections for locations not serviced by Metrorail. The Walter E. Washington Convention Center has a dedicated Metro station serviced by the yellow and green lines , and many hotels are conveniently located near Metro stations or bus routes.

    Metro operates from 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to midnight on weekends. Metrorail is currently undergoing an accelerated track work plan to address safety concerns and rehabilitate the Metrorail system. Please review information on Metro’s SafeTrack Plan which may impact your travel.

    Walter E. Washington Convention Center does not have parking inside the convention center; however there are over 3,000 parking spaces in a three block radius of the facility.     Shuttle bus services are provided for individuals who make hotel reservations through Experient Inc. Shuttle buses to and from the hotels and the Convention Center will be available Friday March 17 through Sunday, March 19, 2017 during morning and evening hours only.

    A full shuttle schedule will be available closer to the meeting date.
