The Lounge & Learn Pavilion will serve as the central hub of ACC.18. It’s the place to meet up with your friends and colleagues, attend sessions at the Heart 2 Heart Stage, participate in informal sessions in the various lounges or get hands-on training in the Personalized Skills & Simulation Center.
The ACC Cardiology Careers Placement Center is the perfect venue for setting up interviews, signing up for free CV consultations, taking a professional headshot, posting jobs or résumés/CVs, and reviewing the more than 600 positions listed on the College's online job bank. These services are free to candidates and very economical to employers. This year, candidates can also interview with potential employers at the ACC Cardiology Careers Career Fair on Sunday, March 11 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Lounge & Learn Pavilion.
This is the ideal place to relax, enjoy a snack, check your email and connect with your colleagues. In addition, there will be informal networking and information sessions for members and prospective members to learn about the College's on-going efforts to support the Cardiovascular Team membership, as well as opportunities to get involved.
The International Lounge provides a space where you can join colleagues from around the world to discuss and share the latest science, research and treatment modalities in the field of cardiology. This year, the International Lounge will feature a networking area and a private meeting space. Take a break in the International Lounge and learn more about the College’s international activities. In addition, ACC membership materials are available in several languages.
All invited faculty, including speakers, co-chairs and panelists, must check in at the Speaker Service Center, even if all files were uploaded in advance. Faculty may also register and/or pick up their badges and registration materials at the front desk of the Speaker Service Center.
Invited faculty for ACC.18 will receive a white "Faculty" ribbon, which will give them access to the Faculty Lounge. Services in the lounge include a light lunch service and comfortable lounge atmosphere for private faculty networking, plus the ability to power-up personal devices and access the internet.
The WIC Community Lounge is a networking venue for ACC’s women physician members. Visit the WIC Lounge to take a break between sessions, network with colleagues and learn more about some of the exciting initiatives WIC is working on.
