CV Team Cases

ACC.27-WCC is where groundbreaking discoveries, real-world cases and innovative ideas converge to shape the future of cardiovascular medicine. Case presenters will have the opportunity to share and discuss their research with the global cardiovascular community.

Submit a CV Team Case

CV Team Cases are accepted in 12 topic areas. All submissions will be considered for:

  • Oral presentations
  • Moderated poster presentations
  • Traditional/flatboard poster presentations

What Your Case Should Include

Cases should demonstrate collaboration and consultation with interdisciplinary colleagues.

Your submission should:

  • Highlight key diagnostic features.
  • Describe care coordination and management strategies.
  • Identify the experts involved in managing the case and securing a diagnosis.
  • Share at least one clinical pearl that learners can immediately apply in similar practice settings.

Eligibility Requirements

CV Team Cases are peer reviewed. Both the presenting author and first author must be allied health professionals or advanced practice providers to submit in this category.

Eligible professions include:

Allied Health Professionals

  • Cardiovascular technologists, including:
    • Sonographers
    • Electrophysiology specialists
    • Invasive specialists
    • Vascular specialists
    • Perfusionists
  • Cardiovascular rehabilitation professionals, including:
    • Clinical psychologists
    • Clinical social workers
    • Exercise physiologists
    • Occupational therapists
    • Physical therapists
    • Registered dietitians
  • Genetic counselors
  • Registered nurses

APRNs, PAs and Clinical Pharmacists/Advanced Practice Providers

  • Clinical nurse specialists
  • Clinical pharmacists
  • Nurse practitioners
  • PAs

If your profession is not included in the CV Team categories, submit your case through the Complex Clinical Case category.
