Resources for Parents
ACC welcomes and invites parents with children to attend ACC.19! This year we have added and enhanced several services to support parents. We will offer child care throughout the meeting, an enhanced mother's room and an updated policy around children at ACC.19. We hope with these changes we can make it easier for parents to attend the Annual Scientific Session this year and in the future!
Child Care Services
New This Year! The ACC is excited to offer child care services to ACC.19 attendees! KiddieCorp will be providing care for children ages 6 months through 12 years old. This will allow ACC.19 attendees to have a comfortable, safe and happy place for their children, located in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, while they attend sessions. Children must be registered (advance registration deadline is February 22, 2019) and availability is limited so please don't delay. Learn more and register your child(ren) today!
Room 215 and Show Office D108
The enhanced Mother's Room at ACC.19 will provide a private, comfortable area for nursing mothers to pump or breast feed. Each lactation room will be equipped with comfortable furniture, power outlets and sanitation products. Lockers will be available in Room 215 for safe storage but we ask that you bring your own lock or purchase a lock (available at the UPS Business Center in the Hall E Lobby). A refrigerator will be available in the Child Care Center (Room 202) for your convenience.
Children at ACC.19
(Updated policy for ACC.19)
Anyone over 18 years of age must have either a Family Member or Professional Badge to attend the conference. Because of limited seating capacity and the highly technical nature of the education program, children over the age of six months old are not invited to attend presentations. During Expo hours, children under 18 years old will be permitted in the exhibit halls only if accompanied by an adult at all times. Under no circumstances will children be allowed in the exhibit halls during installation or dismantle.
