Cardio Sim Creator Competition

The ACC is now accepting submissions for the Cardio Sim Creator Competition, a prestigious recognition for outstanding innovation in the field of cardiac simulation.

This is your opportunity to showcase your cutting-edge simulator in this exclusive competition and pave the way for advancements in simulation-based education. Whether you've developed a procedural trainer, a serious educational game or enhanced an existing simulator, you can become the recipient of ACC's Cardio Sim Creator Award.

Submit a 3 – 5-minute video demonstrating your simulator or game, along with the following information:

  • Problem Solving and Efficacy of Your Simulator: Provide an explanation of how your simulator adeptly addresses an underlying problem or question it was created to resolve.
  • Skillsets Targeted by Your Simulator: Clearly delineate the specific skills that your simulator is designed to teach.
  • Intended Audience For Your Simulation: Define the target audience for your simulation, ensuring a clear understanding of its educational applicability.
  • Assessment Metrics and Competency Evaluation: Articulate the criteria, measurements, or assessment techniques employed to gauge learning outcomes and the competency of participants.
  • Significance and Seamless Integration of Your Simulation: Highlight the importance of your simulation within the broader training context, emphasizing how it seamlessly integrates into existing educational programs or educational systems.

The winner will be announced by Jan. 16 and will be invited to present their simulator at ACC.25. The winner will be offered a faculty appointment and may select other faculty members to teach at the Cardio Sim Creators Station.
