Artificial Intelligence at ACC.25
Explore the Program
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the field, and it will take center stage at ACC.25. This year's program will showcase how this ever-evolving technology can be incorporated into your own practice and lead to better patient care. The focus of this year's Intensive Session focuses on the foundations of AI, and several Scientific Sessions will address AI in the management of arrythmia and congenital heart disease, AI in the Cath Lab, and its use in cardiac imaging. Meanwhile, Fireside Chats bring the experts to you with discussions on AI in valvular heart disease and remote monitoring. Plus, don't miss a session on the Heart2Heart Stage featuring AI in provider workflows and supply chain management.
Intensive Sessions
This year's intensive sessions will focus on the foundations of AI. In the first, The Machines Are Coming! Basics of Clinical Augmented Intelligence For the Practicing Clinician (Session 202), learn the basics of AI and receive a run-down on the most effective AI-based tools for your practice. The session is capped by the Louis F. Bishop Keynote Speech by John S. Rumsfeld, MD, PhD, MACC, on clinical AI's past, present and future in cardiovascular medicine.
The second session, Diving Into the Weeds, Practical Considerations For Implementation of Clinical AI (Session 218) builds off the first and goes a step beyond the science to discuss how AI is changing business models, malpractice risks and government regulation.
Additional sessions throughout ACC.25 will allow you a deep dive into the many facets of AI. Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Practice: Implications For Management of Patients With Arrythmias (Session 315) discusses its growing role in an important patient population. Meanwhile, The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory of the Future (Session 329) takes you on a tour of the Cath Lab of 2050!
Putting the IQ Into Artificial Intelligence For Cardiac Imaging (Session 353) presents a series of didactic lectures on AI's myriad applications for clinical workflows across echocardiography, cardiac CT, CMR and nuclear cardiology. The conceptional session, The Power of AI in Congenital Heart Disease (Session 440), shifts the attention to pediatric/congenital heart disease and introduces impactful examples of how AI is already being incorporated.
During one of the fireside chats focused on AI, three experts discuss, Innovation, AI and Careers: Futures in Valvular Heart Disease (Session 235). Learn how AI is changing career planning and the current job market. What training will you need to keep up to date on this technological revolution?
Then, stop by for The Value of Remote Monitoring and AI in Community Heart Failure Care: Good Vibes, Bad Vibes or No Vibes (Session 335), for a run-down of wearable biosensors, remote monitoring software, and predictive and generative AI.
In the Lounge & Learn Pavilion, join three experts on the Heart2Heart Stage for Optimizing the Backstage: How AI Improves Non-Clinical Operations in Cardiovascular Care (Session 614). Learn how to better optimize your provider workflows, workforce staffing/scheduling and supply chain management. For anyone eager to start operationalizing AI, lessons learned from early adopters can make the shift as smooth as possible!
