Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology
The Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Learning Pathway at ACC.17 explodes with information about how innovative approaches and more informed decisions can result in more effective treatment of patients with congenital heart disease. In addition to the exciting sessions featured in the ACC.17 CHD pathway, the ACC’s Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology Section is hosting the second annual CHD Community Day for pediatric and adult congenital cardiologists, CHD surgeons, CHD advanced practice providers and cardiac administrators.
The CHD Community Day will be held:
Thursday, March 16
12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The theme of this year’s CHD Community is Moving Toward a Better Understanding of Long-Term Outcomes of CHD Care. The CHD Community Day will include a series of presentations focused on the CHD community’s common goals to define long term outcomes and understand the various clinical, psycho-social and policy aspects affecting CHD patients.
Register for ACC.17 and arrive a day early to attend the CHD Community Day on Thursday, March 16. We look forward to your participation in:
- Important discussions on measuring long term outcomes in CHD patients
- Opportunities to collaborate across the CHD Community
- Updates on the ACPC Quality Network
- Breakouts dedicated to discussing data gaps in CHD care, issues in Adult Congenital Heart Disease care and the CHD Heart Team
A CHD Leadership Forum for CHD leaders and interested guests will be a capstone to this unique day dedicated to issues and concerns of the CHD community. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on ACC.17 registration or the CHD Community Day.
