Pulmonary Vascular Disease

The Pulmonary Vascular Disease Learning Pathway at ACC.23/WCC features a collection of pulmonary hypertension (PH) sessions for a diverse population of providers, including those just beginning to learn about PH all the way to PH experts. Engaging sessions in the pathway address the basics of PH, review backgrounds and key pointers for more advanced clinical dilemmas in PH, and provide a sneak peak of developing treatments and diagnostic tests that will hopefully be the future of personalized medicine for patients with PH.

Given the challenge of diagnosing the cause of PH and identifying the proper treatment, experts will provide attendees with a roadmap through the diagnostic evaluation, determining the severity of the disease, indications for referral to a PH center and initial medication selection (Session 632). After reviewing the basics of PH, attendees will explore challenging clinical scenarios in pulmonary arterial hypertension management as experts discuss insights and pearls from complex patient cases (Session 511).

Take part in the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Learning Pathway for these exciting, informative sessions and more!
